Ok I’m guilty of indulging in a few reality shows here n’ there; I admit it. I’m not proud of it, but I admit it. Still, is there any valid reasoning behind the creation of such drivel as “Ballroom Bootcamp,” “Family Forensics,” or “My Big Fat Obnoxious ____” (fill in the blank with whatever they come up with next) …

Here’s another “winner” (note sarcastic tone here): PAX TV’s Cold Turkey II (how did I manage to miss Cold Turkey I) featuring ten new unsuspecting participants who will attempt to quit smoking while living in a smoke-free San Diego mansion. (Translated: 10 very cranky people bite each other’s heads off and raid the fridge 24/7. Be sure to set your VCR!)
